With WEFTEC 2024 right around the corner, we wanted to share some of our favorite things to do in New Orleans!

October To-Do’s 

• French Quarter Ghost Tours - Take advantage of the Halloween season with a ghost tour in the French Quarter! 

• National Fried Chicken Fest - New Orleans is a city full of festivals and the National Fried Chicken Festival will be happening during WEFTEC on Oct. 5-6th. You can purchase a single-day ticket for just $15 to enjoy fried chicken vendors from all over the country!

• Fall Garden Festival—The New Orleans City Park is hosting its annual Fall Garden Festival on Oct. 5th! Visitors can walk through the botanical gardens and experience live music, art, educational programs, and product sales.

• Vue Orleans Observation Deck - Less than 10 minutes from the convention center is Vue Orleans, a 360-degree observation deck with multiple cafes, bars, and unique immersive experiences. 

• Mardi Gras World - Across the street from the WEFTEC venue is Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World. Founded in 1947, you can tour this historic art studio and watch artists work on next year's Mardi Gras floats!

• Caesars New Orleans - Enjoy gaming and entertainment right down the street from WEFTEC at the Caesars New Orleans Casino.
