A Day in the Life at Opti-Float - How Austin Devillier is Navigating Projects and Making an Impact at Cox Research
Creating and delivering innovative solutions for our clients is central to what we do at Cox Research Optifloat. Our Project Manager, Austin Devillier leads the bulk of our Opt-Float project and works with each of our customers to ensure they have the best experience possible.
Before joining our team, Austin’s background was in water engineering and residential electric service. The work we do with waste water management and electrical panels perfectly blended Ausin’s past experiences. As project manager, most of Austin’s day is dedicated to interacting with customers. From troubleshooting issues and providing updates to gathering feedback, client communication is one of Austin’s key responsibilities.
Another major part of Austin’s role is drafting quotes for a client. This involves understanding the client's specific needs, translating those requirements into detailed quotes, and sending them off for approval. It's a critical step that sets the tone for the project's success and ensures we're aligned with the customer's expectations from the get-go.
At our research facility, Austin works on testing completed control panels and Opti-Floats. This hands-on phase is one of the extra measures we take to ensure everything is functioning perfectly before the panels are delivered. One of Austin’s favorite parts of working at Cox Research is helping our customers find more reliable and effective products. Standout innovations like Opti-Float provide a safer and more reliable alternative to traditional float switches that have heavy environmental impacts.
